I finally went solo last weekend, Keith pulled a shifty on me and shot thru back to the pits while I was still flying the boomerang 60 around.
Hey Keith no answer I have lost oreintation, the aircraft was wing dropping close to the ground. Have you got it, still no answer oh shit, full power wings level and back to altitude.
I then cottoned on that I was banging about the circuit solo which after doing a sort of reasonable landing was the cumulation of about 5 months of nerves, why cant I do this smoothly and not over control the aircraft and every other issue to do with learning to flying r/c aircraft.
Keith is a great instructor with an enthusiatic attitude plus the inate ablility to impart the knowledge and skill required to reach a competent skill level to enable anyone to go solo and proceed onwards and hopefully upwards in this great and rewarding hobby.
Thanks for the fun including all the other flyers I have met while training.
